Hypnosis is simply a tool used by a qualified practitioner who knows what it can do, but also what it cannot. A textbook definition of hypnosis is that it is a natural phenomenon, and is a most pleasant and very relaxing experience. It is a state of relaxation and concentration at one with a state of heightened awareness induced by suggestion. Through the simple use of my voice, I help a client to relax into a state, which can be best described as that point just before you fall asleep, or just after you have woken up, but know you are not completely awake. It is a truly wonderful feeling. Many of my clients once they have opened their eyes again, say they would just love to have stayed there all day. It is a nice feeling and wonderfully relaxing.

Suggestion and Analytical Hypnotherapy!
Suggestion hypnotherapy helping a client with a fear of flying - using hypnosis the fears associated with flying are modified, the client changes the way they both think and feel about flying. They become more positive, more confident and more relaxed with both the thought of the flight, and the plane journey it's self.
Suggestion hypnotherapy - is used to help people stop smoking, lose weight, combat anxiety, relieve stress, control pain, panic, migraine, phobias, stress, stage fright, etc. Help you with relaxation, motivation, self-esteem, communication, public speaking; improve study habits, memory, exam nerves. Greatly improve your sports performance, your business sales performance etc. Usually requires between two and six sessions. (Smoking cessation – one 'super session' only!).
Analytical hypnotherapy - which is used to find the causes of psychological problems? Hypno-Analysis can best be explained as the doctrine of 'cause and effect' every symptom has a cause; Hypno-Analysis helps to reveal this, and so remove the cause, and relieve the symptoms. Emotional problems respond particularly well to 'Hypno-Analysis'. The object of the analysis is to bring you to a moment of surprising and liberating enlightenment, and one can be fairly confident that a release will be obtained usually within eight to twelve sessions. Here we are talking about a complete and lasting release, by finding and removing the originating causes. This type of therapy helps a person release all kinds of emotional baggage, from the present day, back to childhood. This is a totally private and individual therapy.
